It’s a full-on celebration of the businesses that make Cranford Cranford.
Holiday Traditions
Cranford feels like a Hallmark movie come to life — and our holiday events are a big reason why. Our beloved traditions bring warmth, wonder, and that small-town magic.
Twice a year, Cranford turns into a full-on block party. These street-fair-style festivals fill North Union Ave and Alden Street with 100+ local vendors, food trucks, live music, and community joy.

Signature Events
Hosted along North Union Ave and Alden Street, this open-air street fair features 100+ local vendors, makers, and Cranford businesses, plus food trucks, live music, and family-friendly fun.
- Music and food action is centered in the Fire Department parking lot near the gazebo.
- Admission is free and open to the public.

Hop on over for pictures with the Cranford Easter Bunny. The bunny will be at the Gazebo from 10:00am - 11:30am and at Centennial Village from 1:00 - 2:00pm. Free lemonade & Easter eggs. Donations are gratefully accepted. All proceeds will go the Cranford Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship fund

Held the Friday after Thanksgiving. Caroling, Santa’s arrival, and magical small-town vibes.
The Girl Scouts will decorate the tree from 10-Noon, Caroling will begin at 5 and the tree will be lit at 6pm. Pictures with Santa will follow after the tree is lit. A special thank you to all of our sponsors.
Buy a $10 ornament to decorate and hang on the town tree — all proceeds support Chamber-hosted holiday events.

In the olden days, families would gather around the radio listening to their favorite programs. We'd like to bring back that nostalgia and family time. Join us every Sunday night in December as Santa Claus will go live, online on Facebook to read bedtime stories for the local boys and girls.

Our beloved Trolley Rides & Sing Along with Santa will return on Saturday, December 20, 1:00pm – 4:00pm. The trolley will leave every 15 minutes from the Gazebo. Please line up by 3:00pm. We will have a hard stop at 3:00 for the line.
